Women Who Care Ministries first started as a women's fellowship group when Judith Clark (founder) was divinely led to open her home for the gathering.  Over 35 women attended this first meeting.

The women's fellowship creates a safe haven for women of all backgrounds to break free from the bondage of their past and to embrace God's promises.

From this women's fellowship, men women and children began coming to the meetings and this vehicle served to meet the needs of the entire family.

From the beginning, WWCM has had a desire to share God's incredible love for the precious women and children we assist primarily through our food programs and also through referrals.

We glorify God through service to others, and we are grateful we have been called to serve those in need.

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. (Isaiah 61:1)

Women Who Care Ministries (WWCM) is a faith-inspired, non-profit based in Montgomery Village MD, that has been serving the community for more than 24 years.  The primary mission is to help hurting people overcome; primarily through offering safety net services to those who are low-income and need assistance economic and physical stabilization.

Our  signature program is our "Helping Kids Eat Backpack Weekend Meal Program which provides non-perishable food items to low income children each Friday, for weekend consumption; to make sure they are not going to bed hungry.

We are now facing unprecedented times which calls for unprecedented support.  That's why we have leveled up our services to provide programs geared towards stabilization, both physically and financially. That's why we encourage the community to join us providing critical safety net services to provide practical assistance to our neighbors in need.  Whether volunteering, donating food or money, or joining our illustrious Board - EVERYTHING helps!
